AS A DATE MOVIE
Great Bet - The romance that blossoms between Rocky the flying Rooster and Ginger Hen will be having daters of all ages holding hands and clucking sweet nothings in each other's ears in no time.

CHICK FLICK
Great Bet - Chickens aren't really known for being strong female characters, but in Chicken Run, Ginger shows real spirit and bravery as the hen that leads the others to freedom. The ladies will swoon over Mel Gibson's voice, even if he takes on the cartoon shape of a cocky rooster

GUYS MOVIE
Maybe - If the guys don't normally like children's animated films, then they will probably be bored with Chicken Run. However, claymation buffs should not miss it, the art is absolutely fabulous and worth seeing.

CHILDREN
Great Bet - As captivating as James and the Giant Peach, this film is perfect for kids of all ages. The story is one they can follow, with enough action to keep their eyes glued to the screen for the duration. The children will especially laugh over the two rats that don't know roosters can't lay eggs.

TEENAGERS
Great Bet - Young teens especially will love Chicken Run, and will no doubt find the chicken calisthenics and flight training hilarious. Older teens will still enjoy the movie, as there is subtle humor for the older group to appreciate.

GENERATION X
Good Bet - Gen Xers who have grown up loving stories about evil farmers who are bested by their barnyard animals will find Chicken Run very satisfying. The claymation is truly incredible, kids and adults alike will be in awe of the talking hens, who knit, have teeth, use binoculars and build aircraft from scratch.

BABY BOOMERS
Good Bet -Boomers who want an excuse to see the children's film Chicken Run can always tell their friends they just don't want to miss anything Mel Gibson is involved in. Boomers will absolutely adore Rocky and the hens that he woos.

MATURE AUDIENCES
Great Bet -Grandma especially will think Chicken Run is the cutest movie she has seen since Babe or Stuart Little. The way the older hens have to get their tailfeathers shaking to get in shape will be a great chuckle for the older set, not to mention the way the farmer eventually deals with his nasty wife.

INTELLECTUALS
Great Bet -The smarty-pants crowd will have fun picking out the innuendoes, the references to other films and television shows, and will relate to the scientist hen with the Scottish brogue that basically designs and engineers an aircraft single-wingedly.
